Walton 9 - 3 Bocking

Walton defeated Bocking 9-3 in what could be said as the best team performance of the season so far!!! Alan Currivan (30.00) starred in the pairs with Ken Russell, along with 180 scoring Tony Starbrook (28.35) and kevin Savory! Andrew Currivan & Ben Austin were Walton's other winners as Walton raced into a 3-1 lead!! Tony Starbrook (20.88) made it 4-1 before Alan Currivan (26.16) kept his impressive season going with a 3-2 victory against Kelvin J Byrne aided by a 14 dart leg!! Robert Emery (22.82) played very well and could have averaged a lot more as he won 3-2 securing a draw. then debutant Adrian Joshua (23.12) secured victory for his side as he took to superleague like a duck to water with a comfortable 3-0 victory against sam Hayden. Ken Russelll (21.37) extended the lead with a 3-2 win, Kevin Savory lost out 3-2 against the experienced Bryan Willis, Ben Austin (23.85) was superb and was unlucky not to go out in 11 darts which ended up to be 17 as he won 3-0 before Andrew Currivan lost the last game 3-0 to an in form Rhys Hayden.

Walton 8 - 4 Dunmow

Walton travelled to Dunmow for the second game in the mini league and came away with an 8-4 victory that could have been more, as Adrian Cranmer claimed his first victory in charge of the side.. Ben Austin (27.29) & Reece Hutchison (23.77) comb (25.66) got Walton off to a flier in the pairs and were followed up by wins from Alan Currivan (25.42) & Ken Russell comb (21.29), along with a win from debutant Mark Austin & Kevin Savory comb (20.85).... Andrew Currivan & Tony Starbrook comb (22.88) lost the last pairs game against David Saker & Mark Harris.... Walton then went 4-1 up as Alan Currivan (23.05) hit a maximum 180 on his way to a 3-2 victory against Richard Ward in a very nip and tuck game. other singles wins came from Man Of The match Kevin Savory (24.03) who was very impressive and calmly checking out on 140 in the fifth leg of his game with Mark Harris as the Dunmow man was left on a double..! Tony Starbrook (20.45) found a maximum 180 in his 3-1 victory over Phillip Barrett.. Nick Grainger (18.49) got on the band wagon winning 3-1 against Alan Dewar and was unlucky not to take out 113 & 135 along they way.. Reece Hutchison (23.85) played very well but was unfortunate to bump into Matt Atkinson as he checked out on finishes of 96 & 84 to win 3-1 as Hutchison left doubles.. Andrew Currivan (23.48) got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Chris Camp. before finally Ben Austin (20.45) scored well but rued missed doubles as he lost 3-2 against David Saker...

 Walton went down 9-3 away to Waltham Abbey in what was an overall good match, Walton could have won a couple more games but credit to the home side who played very well...

      Singles wins came from Robert Emery (22.77) who won 3-0..                        Ben Austin (22.42) won 3-1..........

  Alan Currivan (27.39) Man of the Match won 3-2 in a very good game against Lee White with a total of 23 ton+ scores between the  2 players...
